The Official E-mail HOWTO

Ever been frustrated by colleagues making a mess of quoting emails in a thread? Ever worried for the people who write in pink, red or blue? Ever cursed someone who sent a HTML email? Ever spent hours figuring out who said what in a conversation?

Well, don’t worry anymore. I’ve decided to step up to curb the madness. Next time someone does that, point them to the official email HOWTO. In fact I suggest you preempt the nonsense by posting a print out on their workspaces!
